United States Camera Corp. (USC)


This camera was made in Japan (despite the name) circa 1955. It was distributed by USC which is based in Chicago, IL USA. It takes 6x6cm exposures on 120 roll film. It is a heavy camera similar in weight to Yashica and other Pro TLRs. It has a coated lens (marked F.C. in red.) The lens is a Biokor f 3.5 80mm. The viewing lens is marked Tri-Lausar There is a Synchro MX leaf shutter with speeds of B 1 2 5 10 25 50 100 and 300. There is a bladed aperture with f stops from 3.5 to 22. There is a PC flash sync which can be used with many modern flashes. The shutter features X F M sync and a self timer. The front rack moves both lenses as you focus and focuses down to 3.5 feet. The viewfinder has lines along the side for aid in composition and a central matte circle for aid in focusing.
