Spartus
Full Vue
The Spartus Full Vue is a basic, twin-lens box camera made of bakelite. It was produced from 1948 - 1960. The bakelite is embossed to look like leather. It was made by Spartus Camera Corp. in Chicago, IL USA. It makes 6x6 images on 120 or 620 film (the inside of the camera states that it can use both.) The lens is fixed focus and aperture. There is a switch to select between Time and Instant exposures and a simple shutter with side mounted release. Since the camera uses 120 film it is still quite usable today (since you can still get the film and have it processed) and there are many people on the web who have taken and posted fine photos taken with a Spartus Full Vue!
